The off the wall stuff might suggest it but the fact that he seems sooo focused on what he does, I tend to doubt it.

Why can't they just be happy with Jim being 'under the top'? I like his crazy stuff but sometimes I just like to see him be a person and not a cartoon character. The studios just go for what has worked in the past, relying on sure bet formulas. Give the guy a chance to further prove how good an ...

Yes! While I loved Moulin Rouge, cheesines and all (well, Ewan IS my other mad crush, after all) I would love to see him as a rocker as well. Can't tell you how many times I've listened to I Am The Walrus!

1. I want to be in a punk/alternative band.

2. Someday, I NEED to surf a crowd.

3. I would so love to see Jim surfing a crowd at one of my shows (that one is almost as unlikely as sprouting wings and flying to Mars).

4. Quit smoking. Quit smoking. Quit smoking.

5. Provide an organized and stable ...

Oh, and I would LOVE to see him in a movie where he sings and dances throughout. I've been dying for him to do a musical, ala Moulin Rouge or something like that. The tiny tidbits sprinkled through his movies is just not enough for me!

I know I might get e-lashed for this, but I wasn't always crazy about the schticky stuff. I've always liked him but I thought some of it was, well, stupid for lack of a kinder word. BUT...after seeing his more serious roles and just how brilliant he is at subltety, I started to appreciate the crazy ...

Joel did react though. That's why he ditched work and got on a train to Montauk. Mary wasn't having those same reactions but she did fall in love again.

Actually, a question I've had is this. When Clem is starting to freak out with Patrick because she knows something is wrong but can't figure out what, she gets upset when he calls her nice, seemingly in response to the beginning when Joel calls her nice... BUT, that whole event doesn't happen until ...

The time sequences jump around a lot in this movie. I think the scene when they are in the van takes place after he actually went to the clinic. That's the night he takes some kind of sleeping pill, they come in after he's asleep and erase his memory.

What the?? I went to vote (again) because the last couple of times I tried to click, nothing happened. This time I clicked on Jim and it highlighted Alfred Molina! Now I can't get back to the villian category. It's rigged, I tell ya.

Fluffy, I didn't read your reply until after I posted the last picture of Ewan. (hopefully it still is of him!) Ah, what a very lucky friend you have! He's a good boy now. Married, two daughters. All the good 30-40 something men are taken. Well, except Jim of course.

Anyway, Jim and Ewan; my two ...
