I don't think that's official yet, he's just been mentioned like all the others. I don't see them deciding until Pierce has actually finished.

You know, I've thought about this some more and I've come to the conclusion that I'd hate to see Jim play James Bond. The role seems to become bigger than the actors themselves. Sean Connery is a great actor, yet to a lot of people he'll always be remembered for James Bond despite everything he's ...

I've never drank coffee from 7-11 either... they only have that vending machine style coffee don't they? He must have been desperate!

I agree Edward Norton and Tom Hanks were wonderful in their performances that year... (actually I think it was when he did Man on the Moon that it was a weaker year.) I admit though I haven't seen the other 3 performances from that year that were nominated. Yeah, let's just agree to disagree on this ...

JT, how could you keep that important factor from us???

*imagine's Jim taming his penis with a microphone* I don't know how you managed to function after that! And how come you haven't got that photo already? I thought you had it too!

If you're too nervous to ask Jim out.. you could always ...

While he'd be cute as James Bond, I don't think he'd ever do it. My vote would be for Hugh Jackman, he rocks! :)

You also have to look at it in relation to the other performances done that year. I can't quite remember who was nominated that year, but I think it was a fairly weak year in terms of powerhouse performances. I think he really gave a strong heartbreaking performance in The Truman Show, and maybe it ...

Cotton... is this the pic from a movie that had entire 500 post thread devoted entirely towards it or is there another pic that I don't know about? Or is it a photo that involves socks?

See, I disagree. I think if an actor/actress does something out of the ordinary and does it well then it deserves attention and rewarding. Even if the Academy hasn't liked the other roles Jim has done, he's performance in The Truman Show was widely believed at the time to be Oscar worthy by critics ...
