i find your post interesting. Because you believe religion is primarily negative, I think you said responsible for wars.......
lol..........well i'm not getting into an arguement but i did NOT say it was primarily negative...........i said it was responsible for a lot of wars.....but i did not say it was negative..........i'm interested that you thought that.....

and yes i did have a weird experience when i saw the Dalai Lama IN PERSON.................i did not expect it........it spooked me ........the sort of reaction you can't anticipate, you have to be there in person.........

You said it. This is the core of the conflicts ... the interpretation of each and every person about religion, politics, and the world at-large... and some people wanting to gain control over others.
I know....my strong sensation lately is that God is just wanting everyone to worship. To be kind to each other. To understand poverty and even criminality. Jesus hung around with Mary Magdalen....

Which says to me, that he was in the poorer neighborhoods, seeking imperfect people.

There's no reason members of any particular religion...if they have a calling...can't work to change things.

God and worshipping aside we should all be kind and try to understand each other...........we don't need an organised religion to give us permission.........lol......
perhaps i'm more of a pagan.......lol......
i believe in nature and love.......

peace and love folks.......lol

we should all be kind and try to understand each other.
But most people don't...I mean....you stated the obvious here, but people today are closed off...for the most part.

I love who I love (with the exception of some people, of course). I'm always friendly and I hope others can sense and realize that. I'm not about bullshit.....we need to be genuine to make things change.

Today my friend needed me to drive him to the food pantry at Sacred Heart Church. It was quite an experience.

i
think some tabloid is unavoidable...........we're saturated by the media ........i guess we just need to take a responsible, middle of the road approach..........people will read the stuff in the tabloids anyhow............and giving people a chance to discuss it here will enable us to dispell any rumours..............such as Jim's Cameo as Evans lover in Evan Almighty ...(where on earth did that one come from.....lol)
it's NOT TRUE........lol.......
anyway............i just say.......keep and open mind and be sensible.....
i think you'll find this is what i actually said............i call for people to have an open mind and be sensible..............i DO NOT say we should waver Jims right to privacy..................nor do i expect to be scapegoated ..............
