I am sure you did not look geeky in your glasses, unless they were those really round glasses with the thick lenses. The stereotypical mad scientist ones! I hope you were alright after you hurt yourself, did you have to go to the hospital or anything? It could have been really serious, when my sister was 2 she fell over and hit her head on this hard wooden table, my parents thought she might have suffered brain damage or something.

go to the hospital. I've never broken any bones. I'll tell ya something
funny though: (all of my friends have heard this story) about five
years ago I crashed a go-cart at an amusement park in front of maybe
45 people. I was really scared when they flagged me in and I almost
crashed into a pole. It was about 2:00 in the morning, and I had to
go to this unknown hospital. They put me in a wheelchair, then on a
stretcher. Luckily, I didn't suffer from any bones or fractures, but it
was the most embarrassing moment of my life. I always thought that
if I would have veered just a bit more to the right I would have crashed
into that huge pole and broke my neck. Anyways, I laugh about it now;
I think it's really funny. We're all better off in life to laugh at our
stupidity instead of dreading it.

glad to hear you are alright.
That could have been really serious, I am glad you did not suffer any severe or permanent damage. After something bad or embarrasing happens you can laugh about it, really it is best to, otherwise you could get really bogged down with things. I mean, if I did not laugh at some of the embarrasing things I have got myself into, I would be a really miserable person. May I ask, why were you at an amusment park at 2 in the morning?

We were on vacation at the beach. One of the amusment parks
had stayed open really late, and we thought after a long day it would
be really cool. We left the park after my wreck and arrived at the
hospital at about 2:00 in the morning. It was nearly a 45 minute drive
to the nearest hospital and we had to have directions and stuff, cuz
we had never been to a hospital there before. It was probably close
to midnight when we got tickets for the amusement park.

It must have been uncomfortable wearing the neck brace, I have never had any serious injuries luckily! Daisy the cow looked hilarious in the film, that was a funny moment, she survived after nine shots in the head.

Yes, Daisy was a very brave cow indeed! How long did you have to wear the neck brace? Was it difficult to do daily things? I could imagine that it would be. I may sound stupid by saying this, but was it wasy to wash, cause all I am doing is imagining the water getting trapped inside!

embarassment than pain because everyone was staring at me
and whispering.

told his wife, "Did you see that girl? Quite a daredevil; came speeding
in there and never hit the brakes." Needless to say, but daredevil
became a nickname for me ever since.

getting attention, but I received more attention than I wanted that day.
