do you believe in ghosts?

my mom's best friend just moved into their new house. they've been hearing noises, seeing things that they can't understand, feeling things that in any normal house you wouldn't feel. yesterday, they watched in horror as their phone picked itself up off of the hook. when one of them took a bath, they felt a presence, and saw a figure. they are afraid to speak off these beings because they think the ghosts might hear them and attack or do something to them, they won't speak too privatly either.

so, the question remains....

i believe that when we die our souls go to the other side..that is true

but ghosts as in horror movies, flying candles, doors and windows closing and open / haunted houses

Oh well, you would be able to explain that to that ghost that lives in my house? I cannot sleep with that to drag of chains and its uuuuhhhhh! !!!

Yeah I guess I believe in ghosts, there are actually many ghost footage on youtube but I have yet to see a real proof, which is pretty hard to get I must say!

no idea, but i tend to be skeptical of scary ghosts..........if the do exist i think it's as guiding spirits, just keeping an eye on us........

There's this very rational scientist who askes, 'If ghosts can go through walls, how can they walk on floors?' But then you've also got the poltergeists and the electronic voices phenomenon. Whatever their authenticity may be, ghost are thrilling.
I believe that the existence of aliens is more probable, but that's another story!

Oh man, I definetly believe in ghosts.
I've seen 'things' all my life, so I'd have to be crazy not to.

In reality - no

I havn't seen any ghost in my life.
However I'm sure that a real ghost doesn't look like a ghost in movies. Of course if ghosts realy exists

yeah, we've got no clue if they are! but TAPS is working on that! they are ghost hunters. Plumbers by day, Ghost Hunters by night!

I believe in ghosts because I saw one once...
me and my friend saw one at an old touristy manison. It was spooky!

Hey, us too! It was the Rirodion (or however you spell that) we went there on Halloween last year! They kept telling us stories and dragged us from room to room and all of the sudden, we smelled something, people started shivering (which means the ghosts are walking through you, or so I've heard) and I heard a few sounds and saw a mist standing right in front of me! It scared the crud out of me!

Sry...kinda made me laugh...it sounds so much like my experience with my friend. This lady was telling us the story about how someone who had lived in the mansion had died and they kept her body upstairs in the attic until they could bury her and her ghost still haunts the house. Apparantly she was really angry that she had been locked away in the attic for a month (I forgot why it took this long to bury her) and she couldn't be put to rest. Anyways, the story scared the crap out of my friend and I and then we walked upstairs to the attic and the opened the door. We didn't see anything, but when we went back downstairs we saw her standing on the bottom step staring at us and then she disappeared.
It was so freaky...I still get chills thinking about it.
