"Ace Ventura Jr." - Status: On DVD in March

The idea of this movie is so stupid. I mean, Ace Jr.? Damn. That's low. This will probably go directly to video and it'll probably be geared mostly toward kids.... If critics hated the second one--which I love--what will they think about this?

yeah i loved the second one too..........i was practically cataplectic with mirth during the raccoon and slinky scenes........they were hilarious....

I liked dumb and dumberer, but I hated the guy who played lloyd (he tried to act like Jim but he couldn't njéh ) . I never watched son of the mask and I'm not planning to!
Anyway, I think I'll give Ace Ventura 3 a chance, it will not be like ace 1 or 2 I hope it's going to be more like dumb and dumberer then son of the mask.

definitely reminded me of the arrival of our new baby but the most
scary part was after having four kids, I never realized how horrific it
can be at the other end of the spectrum. Here the mother is pushing...
yadayadayada.... dad is at the other end watching all the crap & blood &
gore that's going on (literally) I always wondered why my husband
(at the time) always looked so stunned after the kids were born, I thought
it was because of the shock of having another child come into the world,
it wasn't that, it was that it is really a horrifying experience when you are at the other end watching, kinda like, will she live after loosing that much
blood???? That is the question. Another question may be "Did I do this?"
Did I cause all the pain? But men are pretty resilient and always go for
the Gold again. And that's the way it is!

I think Hollywood just isn't creative anymore.... These new people who are writing Ace 3 seem just to be milking other (presumably better) writers' ideas. God knows why they can't come up with something original. They are "writers." It would be nice to see them come up with something they could call their own. Real good writers must be rare these days.

I got Son Of The Mask as a joke present for Christmas and in the deleted scenes, Jamie Kennedy pulls out the infamous 'Smmmmokin'!' and I figured they cut it because THAT was too much. Then I had this mental image of Jim showing up at the studio with a bomb and threatening the filmmakers.
I'll say it again, an almost perverted curiosity wants me to see Ace 3 and how much they can screw this up, bring it on!
