How do I put a picture as a siggy?

1)guys?? how do I put a picture as a siggy?? i tried all img* http*host all animated pics don't work !!!! only normal JPEG can't i put a GIF??
2)can I choose an avatar from my computer??

yes thank u .. it works now but i just found out i can't use any flashy, animated signatures....techincal stuff

if you put [img]before%20the%20link%20without%20any%20spaces,%20and[/img] after the link without any spaces, then it works
