I dont think Jim is too worried about the money and if he sees something he likes then he'll do it. I think thats what has happened here. Lets face it, he dosent really need the money.

Remember, Jim is a VERY VERY smart man.....He's very clued up and knows Danny Wallace is smokin hot at the moment. Jim's an innovator and risk taker........innovation always incurs a risk.......but life without risk is empty......

absolutely, im drawn to that aspect of life myself.....i like to stay one step ahead of the game.......it keeps life interesting and stimulating......

I just read this and it was sad , but maybe Jim just wants to have a family ? Maybe I am wrong . I think he should do whatever his heart desires .

If he has become the risk taker also, would he not have some say in the actual production, budget, administration etc.etc.?
If he is putting himself on the line would he not be allowed to have more input, instead of $ 20 Million.
The headlines could read a whole lot more or a whole lot less.
I think it's kind of exciting, all or nothing.
Scary but exhilirating at the same time,
He must have alot of faith in the original book.
