I was just wondering if i was the only one... i seem to be seeing the number 23 alot lately.

Lets start with my name = Halley = 6 letters=6 divided by 2=3 23 sounds a little out there yes.. but then...

I was playing cards with my cousin... both of us scored 23 on the same game.

Next day i was looking at this package my mom was sending and the address (my brothers) was 23 Paradise road... then...

next day looking at my chocolate milk, the expirey date is the 23

at the same time i have a coffee infront of me... same time.. this was today... and i was drinking 2 cream 3 sugar. I never noticed it before today... that it was 23.. know how i noticed? for some reason, the girl who made the coffee wrote it one under the other.. so it made 23...

now here is one more thing. I saw The movie the number 23 on the 23rd cause thats when it came out of course. We went into theater 9 and the movie is written 14A... 14+9=23

I just thought it was a little odd... its all happening at the same time... i was wondering if anyone else is feeling the odd 23 superstition after seeing the movie...

if i see any more.. ill be sure to post it.

ok.. for fun... do you believe in the number 23's curse? I'll leave it up for 23 days and see what you guys say.

I won't say it's a curse.....but it could swing both ways. Like:
We were on vacation in Nebraska (family reasons...lol) and I kept seeing 23's and in that week both my Mom and I got sick, our friends started hating us (we STILL don't know why, but they blamed it on me....) and a guy that tried to attack a police officer ran behind the house we were staying at!

On the other hand.....
My whole name adds up to it (if you add the middle name)
I was born at 8:15 (add those together)
I just read an awesome book! (523 pages long)
It's the ultmiate Rubbernecker (a card game you play while on the road, where you look for things (ex. Guy talking on his cell phone while driving, extra points if he's picking his nose. lol)
It made me a heck of alot better at math just looking for them!

Lately it's been a hugely fun game, just sitting there looking for 23's. It definatly gets you out of the boredom slump!

I agree with the math thing. Ive gotten better at math becauseof it lol...

but the thing is.. i wasnt really looking for 23's, they were just kinda.. showing up everywhere.

HEY! both me and you have the number 23 under our name lol.. so far the only ones to reply.

I'm sorry about that . I saw a clip of Jim when he was being interviewed and he believes in the number 23 . And if he believes in it then there is a meaning behind the number .
