Recording voices.

Post by grinchy steve »

Does anyone know how the voicing was recorded for 'Horton'?

A lot of the computeranimated movies today lack chemistry when you hear the characters talking. How is that possible? Well, sometimes the actors don't even meet eachother while recording. First they are taking the one voice and (by example) a week or two later they are recording the other one.

So I really hope Steve Carell and Jim Carrey were together while doing this, because you can always hear when that's the case.

Ouch. That's never a good sign. Let's hope it turned out alright in this one.
