Slippery Slope, new or old connotation?

Post by Canadian Jayne »

I was watching TV and heard someone quote the words "Slippery Slope"
I wonder if the idea was from the LS series or if this was already a usual/past connotation.
It made me think of LS.
I wonder! :-k

Everything is suppose to melt this weekend....

Post by Canadian Jayne »

so there may be not much snow left by next week. Have thought about skating though, tested the rive, it's a bit frozen, but don't trust it yet until we have really cold weather for a few weeks, its snows, then melts, snows then melts, quite odd for up here.

Out raking the lawn yesterday....

Post by Canadian Jayne »

Snow has pretty well melted, and I decided to rake up some of the leaves, noticed we have a rabbit popping around the property, greenery is starting to pop it's head out. Trying a new solar experiment this year.
It's nice to clean up the yard and get some fresh air, I'm thankful for the little good weather break, usually it snows and snows and snows and snows Oopps almost said (snots) ich that too(then the snoz really is a slippery slope). Looks like the flue season is here, looked up the statistics.. how's everyone feeling out there? A few people and even I have felt a bit of it.

Cleaning out furnace filters are.....

Post by Canadian Jayne »

really important, I use to have the washable kind and sometimes I would do it weekely, and at least monthly. I truly believe people should change their disposable filters at least monthly in the winter months and when flue season's around or people are sick in the household, more often.
Most people only do it yearly, which in my opinion is not often enough.
Snow in ARIZONA? Wow, I think you should put that on the BElieve it or not list.
