Do you think Jim could pull it off...

Being the Captain in the Sound of Music..
does he have the capablility of be the mean stern Captain of the Sound of Music crew, hardened since Jim is so funny could he switch and not bring any comedy or his style of comedy into the character, can he void himself of all his humour? Is it possible??
I don't know, what do you think.
He always seem to bring some of his humour into the movies.
Bring to surface the refined humour of the Captain.

wondered if anyone could envision Jim as the Captain.
