Carrey Feared Romance Was Over Wen McCarthy Disappeared

Jim Carrey feared his romance with JENNY MCCARTHY was over before it really started when the actress/model insisted on time alone to deal with her autistic son EVAN's health crisis.
The funnyman wasn't aware that his new love was suffering panic attacks as she attempted to balance a new romance with her young son's issues - and when she "disappeared" he feared the worst.
Speaking on Wednesday's (24Sep08) Oprah, the actor said, "She kind of disappeared from my life for a little while and she called me up and said, 'Here's the deal'."
