No I did a Trial Newscast at the College

Post by Canadian Jayne »

I'm attending, but it's over the College Site and
students can vote for me or Not.
But that's nothing compared to what is really happening in Canada
This is a true believe it or not.
We just had a vote and
Stephen Harper was voted in.
But due to our processes now it looks like the government can
change pretty quick.
If two parties amalgamate, then the current Prime Minister is out and
the party that no one wanted in, get's in.
How BELIEVE IT OR NOT is that.
I can't believe that this could happen.
Who would have thought.
So now the Party that's in the Red wants to oust the party that's in the Black.
The man who ran, could win by default.
It's like the vote never happened and taking all the votes that were cast, 500 Million $ worth down the drain, to have a government that the people don't want.
There has got to be a way, but to call another election would only put the government and country in more debt.
I understand the only way is for the public, all Canadians to make their feelings known to the Governor General.
The question is: will Canadians sit on their laurels and let the coo happen or will they jump off their seats and do something before we have a bigger finanical problem than we do now.
I wonder!

Ooops I made a mistake again....

Post by Canadian Jayne »

The cost of Canada's Federal Election was not 500 Million but only
300 Million sorry to quote wrong amount
My humble apologies,
still totally irritated that we may have Canada pay another
300 million to do another election, sure hope those boys get their act together.

Weather weirdness all over

Post by Canadian Jayne »

Ontario - major storm told worst in 50yrs not sure that is true though
Unusual weather out west here, not as many Chinooks
Sometimes cold, sometimes warm, changes very quickly
High winds overseas, strange, strange indeed
Anything unusual where you are?

I just experienced #1 amazing opening ceremonies of my life!

Post by Canadian Jayne »

All I can say is Wow!
The Alberta 55 Plus Winter Games are on in town
and I really have to say I have never experienced a ceremony
like this before,
it was like the car crash in "Yes Man"
snuck up on ya and bang there it was,
fireworks streamed from the upper viewing to the lower stage
of the Enmax.
Sure woke me up!
Bravo!
