HBO Pilot - Cancelled

Hmm... I'm not sure if this was posted. I'm listening to Howard Stern right now. Lisa Lampanelli is the guest. She has confirmed that the pilot Jim Carrey was producing for HBO, which Lisa would star in, is now dead in the water. They decided to pass on it, despite the many script revisions.

Here is the excerpt from www.howardstern.com (9/15/09 show).

"Lisa complained that she never got to shoot the Jim Carrey-produced HBO pilot she'd mentioned during her last appearance on the show: "[They] shit the bed. We didn't even get to film the pilot...all they said is 'We decided to pass.'" HBO still had to pay for the series' development and Lisa plans to use the money to pay for her wedding."

The show wasn't a total loss, HBO still paid off everyone who was attached to the pilot despite it never being filmed. Lisa also mentioned that Jim was one of the writers for the pilot script, so he wasn't just a producer. Very sad news

Oh my gosh! That sux! I was looking forward to seeing it. Man thats weird cuz i was just kinda thinking about the show.

I think if he had done this and a movie presented itself he probably would have quit this to do the movie-
