I'm not really worried, he's just scared of a domino effect, which I doubt will happen. Any person who has been working on a film for the past decade would fear the worst like this.

I'd rather the movie not get made. I wasn't really excited that Jim was initially going to be a part of it in the first place. So when it was said he wouldn't do it, I wasn't upset. But then whats with the initial report when he was honored with that Rodney Dangerfield award that he had gained weight? And is he still gaining? Doesn't seem like it, but it doesn't seem like he's loosing either.

I am not that sad about it anymore. I think Ripleys will be better. That is if it ever gets made

Still have doubts about Columbus . Especially after how bad his last film did/was.

You can put your doubts aside, Columbus will know how to handle Ripley's, and he can make a good comeback with it. See what happens...any big movie like this one has to have somebody who knows exactly what they're doing! I'm not so sure about The Three Stooges now, Ripley's will have a better reputation once it's made.
