That was me yesterday, my daughter was
irritated at me and I'd start laughing, she
couldn't understand why I was laughing but
I was so tired and didn't want to argue
so I was laughing, actually it was good.
Instead of retaliating at her comments
she was just confused at why I was laughing

Laughter is a great mediator....... 
.......i try to diffuse trouble with humour and it usually works......folk don't expect it and it throws them off their guard.. then before you know it, everyone is chuckling away.........
