My mom use to smoke and....

Post by Canadian Jayne »

everytime I sat down beside her the wind would shift over to me and the smoke would go right in my face, I'd move, and the smoke would move too, following me, I'd cough and cough. She commented so often how it would always followed me, she'd try to smoke from a different angle but it alwys ended up in my face. Eventually, I'd just leave until she was finished, I've had the same thing happen with other smokers. Really ironic. I tried smoking when I was 15 but with the experience with my mom, I got enough being in the same room with her, I just decided I didn't need it or want it. Today there is the patch and I know a few people that use that. I think sometimes, people just need something to do with their hands, maybe give them a squeegie ball, play the piano keys in the air to memorize the notes, take up sign language. I wonder what it would be like to play chess with your toes, is it possible. Anyway back to the subject.. I think it would be difficult to quit smoking. My mom started when she was 17 and finished when she died 86, but she smoked menthol. Do the natives smoke sweet grass or just smell it??
What about having a note book close buy and everytime you wanted a smoke you wrote in the note book instead. Might be an interesting read for the grandkids.

You are right-smokers smoke cause they have to much time on their hands. Yes it is bad! But the world is Fnck anyway, and what is a little smoke compared to child molestors or liars and cheats?

It's ok to pick your nose Jim, as long as you don't eat the "buried treasure" you find. Lol

Whoa! I didn't mean Jim as granpa, folks. Sorry if it sounded like. AND I wouldn't dare to use his name in the past tense *groan*
