Dont get me wrong I love Carell doing Evan but it just wont be the same without Carrey.

I cannot believe that they are seriously doing this sequel. Has Tom Shadyac lost his mind? This will kill his credibility. Although he probably needs the work - as does Steve Carroll. Needless to say Jim is always moving onto new and better things, which of course is exactly why he is where he his...

yes the fear of a Jim sequal being sucktastic is there but in this case it might be good since it is the original director driving the film unlike all the other ones.

I must agree. It´s not the same without Jim Carrey. Maybe the movie will be funny with Steve Carell, but the biggest problem is the script. I don´t think it´s interesting enough.

No, I have not seen the script but I have heard about the plot. And it´s funny enough to see a movie about Evan building an ark in preparation for a great flood. Maybe I´m wrong. It´s only a wild guess.
