Post by Conor »

what do people think about this.. this is Jim's first thriller. do you think he will drop out of it like in phone booth??? cause like colin farrell looks like Jim a lot! so do you think he will pull another one of colin farrell on us???

i hope this movie does well. also what do you think about the time? do you think it will take a long time to film this movie? i am thinking it will take like 25 days like saw did and it will do very well too!!!! and post production i hope doesnt take long...that way we can get like a summer release!!!

I'm sure Jim Carrey can do a thriller. I just hope it's not a flat thrill you know. Like Harisson Ford does all the time. I 'd like to see Jim in a thriller on a decent level. (Imagine 'Memento', 'Insomnia', you know, directors as David Fincher, Christopher Nolan, Michael Mann, Jonathan Demme, ...) Films where the actor has the chance to pull off an amazing performance. I'm afraid that Joel Schumacher isn't the right man. 'Phone Booth' was nice, but flat. 'the Number 23' is the perfect concept for names like Christopher Nolan. Or at least someone that focusses on the main character and builds the thrills around him. Brad ANderson did amazing things in 'the Machinist'. I just hope with all my heart this will turn out good.

I trust Jim to give it depth and class......I rather think it depends on the rest of the cast too........i hope to god they compliment him......this might be THE movie to give him some serious accolades......ESOTSM set the scene and surprised people.........i'd like to see this one blow expectations out of the water..........but he can't do it on his own.............

i can the production of the film to be low budget and a quick schedule. We know Jim can pull something like this off.......he knows how restrain himself on set when it comes to serious roles.....i think it will end production in 23 days maybe. one can hope right?!

Has anyone else noticed that Jim has renamed his production company to JC 23 Productions ? I noticed it at the beginning of FWDAJ.

As much as I did enjoy FWDAJ it made look with more anticipation of his next serious roll, he is such a great actor I would really so love to see him stretch himself with a real meety roll. Spotless mind is still my all time fav I want more serious Jim!. O yes and more sexy scenes cos I can vacariously enjoy it.

I've known that for over a year, his favorite book in the Bible (or so I've heard) is Psalms 23, he mentioned that maybe 2 years ago about liking this whole 23 thing
