YUp, I had AWESOME seats. And yes, I was all OVER tv. If you taped it, watch the end as Jim is playing the bongos...there's only one guy wearing a Leafs jersey and blue Leafs hat in front of him...that's ME, baby! (as a matter of fact, after I saw how bug my mutton chops looked on the toob, I went today and got a haircut :P)During the show, I saw myself pretty much every thime they showed the audience. My hand kept popping up over the NBC logo. What's really funny is my friend who came with was in the seat to my right, so he was JUST BARELY off-camera. Needless to say, slightly pissed.<br><br>Re. behind the scenes: Ya, it's funny...on TV, the sound is excellent, but the Elgin is designed to allow your voice to project from stage without any kind of microphone...hell, it's over 200 years old (or so I hear...haven't looked in to that.) So as soon as there's speakers in there, especially when they're a quickie set-yup job, it's impossible to hear ANYTHING when the crowd is saying ANYTHING. Plus, the echo is awful. But whatever...it was a good time in a beautiful place.<br><br>Re. Bongos: Ya, you know what? I think it WAS Kauffman. MY bad.<br><br> <p></p><i></i>
