I've seen both R-rated Interview With The Vampire and The Crow when I was just 12 years old with no parent. Not only did I enjoy them but I didn't kill anyone!

At least 'R' allows kids to see the movie if a mature person is with them, things don't work that way for the 16+ rating here in Quebec!

same thing here, if the movie is 16+ you don't get in. Even if your parents are with you and they say it's ok, they won't let you see the movie.

There's a rumor circulating that we see ALL of Jim's in this movie, so in that case it would be a very mature R-rated movie. We'll just have to wait and see!

And btw I saw +13 rated Batman Forever without a guardian when I was 12, thank goodness because it all started there for me!

PG means parental guidance R is for nobody under the age of 17 even if there is a adult.

I posted a gory yet funny exploding head to share my state of mind about waiting for the Number 23, but unfornately, it's a PG-13 board and it refuses exploding heads so Fluffy took the liberty of removing it. It didn't upset me, it made me laugh actually!
