I like all styles of music. Except that music which has bad messages. I haven't been a huge jazz fan, but I love Etta James "At Last" and Norah Jones singing "The Nearness of You" really gets me.
I should get some Miles Davis and listen. He always scared me off when I was younger because he has sort of spooky eyes.
hmmm... I'm not that good with history... so I don't remember a lot of people... Siegfried Sassoon I'd imagine. I like his poetry, and I had to do some research on him as well. Going to war and all that jazz.

I finally got to see Les Mis. My dad loved the music to that and listened to it in the car all the time. Right before my father died in the hospital my brother and I had to drive back to the house to check on it and collect the newspapers. He stuck Les Mis in the tape player and I practically punched the radio to get it out because it made me choke on sadness. I recall that moment so vividly. I was just spluttering "Dddon't" and heaving.
I'd ask him if he'd invent that technology if he had it to do over again...but then, if not him....someone else would've
I'd also like to interview Ronald Reagan...to ask how it felt to go from a small town, through Hollywood to the Oval Office and to know if he had any regrets.
I suppose I could just read a bio. We have enough of them. But that's different than talking to the person.
