What can I say....I'm on a roll! :D

OK:
Bobbie is driving along the road in his new BMW. Disaster strikes when he drives over a broken bottle and punctures his tyre. :( Undeterred he decides to change the wheel at the roadside. It's not one of the town's dodgier neighbourhoods after all. As he loosens and removes the nuts, he places them on the ground beside him, but as he slides the punctured wheel off he accidentally knocks all four nuts down the drain. :o He tries for a while to try and reach in and get them but they are long gone.
It's getting dark and he starts to worry about getting home as he has no spare wheel nuts.
A passerby notices Bobbie and asks what has happened. Bobbie explains how he's lost all the wheel nuts down the drain.
"No problem" says the good samaratan, "here's what you do to get safely home.....".

What does he say and how does Bobbie get home? He goes home in his BMW and he does not receive any extra equipment.

A magnet on a string?

I hate when nuts go missing like that.

Nope, the answer to this does not involve getting the wheelnuts out of the drain. I think they've been swept out into the sea by now.

Put your science hat on and solve this:

In Hawaii, if you drop a steel ball weighing five pounds from a height of 45 inches, will it fall more rapidly through water at 20 degrees Fahrenheit or water at 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Or will it make no difference?

ok, well if theres natural water in hawaii that's only 40 degree's then it must be some other hawaii, than the one I'm familiar with. But reguardless, the molecules in warm water move faster than the molecules in cold water so I'd have to say the ball would fall faster through 40 degree water. But I'm not sure how Hawaii could play into the question. Just my guess. . . How far off the mark am I? :?

You're close enough that I'm going to give it to you. Clever socks.
Hawaii is really just there to throw you. But you were correct in saying the ball would move faster through the water at 40 degrees fahrenheit....that is liquid water. It wouldn't be going anywhere is water of 20 degrees fahrenheit....as that would be frozen.

Actually the water in hawaii is most likely going to be salt water, and won't freeze at 20 degrees, which is why I didn't put that. But cool, I love trying to solve things. lol  i'll have to look for one here in a little bit.
