Has anyone noticed when the film just starts and the "Dumb and Dumber" heading comes out, it bumps then when the "Dumber" part comes out, you hear Llyod saying "Ouch" or something similar. This is why I think Llyod is the dumber one. And of course, as others have said, he goes in the wrong direction, doesn't know how to read and all the other stuff.

Then Harry looks at him in horror

Ist that noise not from the song? But I think the producers didn't say that one of them is dumber than the other, they surely only thought that it is a good title.
