Can anyone explain what happened with the police bit? Why was he arrested?

Cause he was caught stealing stuff at a convient store. It was sooo funny. The cops pulling him out and he was yelling"I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR THESE!!! I AM A CELEBRITY!"

It was just a planned joke, I think.

I think the arrest part was obviously a joke because on the show he talked about stealing, and robbing people as research for the movie. He also talked about being a celebrity allows you to skate by without getting in trouble.

I can just imagine some stupid tabloid taking one of those pics of the police "arresting" Jim and running some crazy story to go with it.
