I'm one of those die hard Jim Carrey fans but when I watch a movie, I can tell if it is bad or good... and this one was, "just O.K.". Seriously, it really had potential, but the jokes were not as funny as they could have been, the story itself was good but not well exploited and as a final result, the movie really lacked something! I've seen all of Jim's movies since Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and I personaly think it was the worst... not that it is "that bad", but it definitely is below the average quality of Jim's movies, from all point of view.

I'm sorry for all of you who really enjoyed it, but it seemed like everybody here thought it was great... and I thought a real fan could also tell that this movie wasn't that good. It doesn't matter, Jim did an OK-job but was far from its full potential, in my opinion.
Let's hope he does more comedy in the years to come and let's pray for Jim to do another "cult" movie like Ace Ventura or Dumb & Dumber because it was.... oooohhhh so greatly funny!!!

Worse than "The Majestic" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"? I could noe believe that (haven't seen the movie yet, it comes tomorrow into German theaters).

I believe I saw this Friday night the first week of Christmas holidays.
Any one who has a job or not should go see this movie.
It's great for entertainment and eye opening.
The end was especially good and overall I truly believe it
is worth seeing.
Rubberface, the movies you liked, I didn't like as much as you.
Therefore I strike it up to a difference in opinion.
I guess maybe it's my age, generational difference.
I loved Majestic, to me a classic.
Love you Fluffy and Quirky.
You two always put a smile on my face.

Ive been to Dick and Jane twice now at our theaters here in North Dakota. I loved it of course, but then again I have a hard time NOT loving Jim's movies. I loved Tea' and his connection on screen, they kind of fed off each other. I enjoy Tea' anyways, she can play a lot of different people but I especially like her when she's rather nuerotic, like in Spangilsh...she did have her moment in Dick and Jane when she was going over the finaces with Dick.
Jim was completely adorable as usual. I laugh my butt off when he steals the lawn back, sings in the elevator and when Jane is razzing him about not being a 'bad ass'. Its a great movie. I don't think the critics liked it much from what I hear, so I don't know how the box office will be affected by it...I can see it doing fairly well but probably not blowing it out of the water by any means. (sorry Jimmy :() But there is one thing that is for sure...I will continue to see it over and over just like I did Liar Liar and all his others...the best part is that after awhile the movie will go to the dollar theater here where I live and then I only have to pay a buck fifty to see it :)

I watched Fun With Dick and Jane on Boxing Day :) The opening scene was really funny, I thought it had potential. But then, it didn't quite make it. It could have been funnier. I saw some commercial parts where Dick and Jane were trying on outfits, I wish they put that in. I got my biggest laugh when they were in the black suits, with the voice changers, that was a really really funny scene, I really enjoyed it!
I was also thinking that Jack Macalister should have gotten a better punishment, something to spice things up a bit.

Still, it was really great seeing Jim on the big screen again, something I've been longing for :)

I saw it yesterday and I loved it! It was really funny but not silly. I laughed a lot but also saw the serious part of it. The theater was pretty filled and I'm glad after Lemony Snicket about such a great movie!

I finally got to see this movie today. I thought it was great, but I agree that it is a little choppy in some places. I give it two thumbs up!
