Hey cotton i wanna translate it too.
And this kind of strings v hindus wear too.V wear it for reliogious matter and our believe to God.
Even i had same kind of strings.

The red string is worn during Hindu prayers. This is a scared thread for good luck & to ward off evil. British PM Tony Blair is also wearing it
