Have you ever seen a real innondation? This is the view from my flat at the 2nd floor. You know, it was horrible but really wonderful and fascinating!

These photos made my dad.
You know in Russia at this period of time (the 2nd part of 80s) people didn't have high tech or something like this.
More than that, my dad made them. He was just an amateur of photography.

They look as though they were taken in the 20's.........

but they are really really charming.....i love old photos anyway......... and it's nice to have childhood photos...........i don't have any....apart from a couple of school photos.......mum and dad didn't have a camera..........so i don't have any visual memories.........and i'm afraid i'll lose them forever with no references..............so, treasure your ones.....

I thought of Aly today when a girl gave a presentation (which was wonderful) about a missionary trip to Belarusse. All the kids in her pictures were adorable.
