Good one, Cotton! :D

I was being facetious. I don't want him to do any of those things. I just want him to be a good boy.

I guess it's just the health issue. You know, smoking causes cancer and all that.

If we want our boy to be happy and live a long and prosperous life, then he should stop. He's the one who says that he's fanatic about his health, so the fact that he quit and then started again, means he's not happy.

But you're right -- it's his life. As long as he's not smoking around other people and making them ill from second-hand smoke. That's just rude.

(Can you tell I live with a smoker who just refuses to stop? No matter how many times my kids tell him it makes them sick and gives them headaches?)

You know people...it's harder to quit nicotine than it is to quit heroin. There are many days that I wish I had never picked up that first cigarette, but when I was in college in London EVERYONE smoked. And I mean literally EVERYONE. And yep, when you're having a rough time it's really hard to not pick up that cigarette and light it.

I thought of ComicPisces last night when I was out on the balcony with my cousin's girlfriend and she was talking about wanting me to do yoga and acupuncture with her and start taking these fish oil tablets because it's healthy.

And we were both puffing on cigarettes.

I mean, it's kind of like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound isn't it?

I like that analogy Bandaid on a gunshot wound. Yes it is, but every little bit helps. 8)

If Jimmy cracked corn, I wouldn't care. Just as long as he was sweet. :)
