i ran as fast as i could,
but their is no escape
the final days are coming,
and i am not ready.
it only seemed like yesterday when it started
but now i feel i faltered
and must do what i have not done.
i only hope i can make it through
leaving with my head held high
passing these final days is
what i want now in my life.
