Esme is coool!! Even if she's an evil character, I really like her!

So stylish :D sometimes too outrageous, but that's Esme~!

Lol, which reminds me of when she adopted that mean girl, Carmellita Spats :D So funny when Count Olaf has to give in to Esme. 8)

There are 11 books in total (book 12 comes out september 2005) and i own and have read all 11.... they are soo good, and in my opinion i like them better than harry potter..... i do not think they will make any more movies because the books do seem a little troubleing and would be hard to adapt into movies... plus Jim hates playing the same character more than once so he wouldnt do Count Olaf and without Jim there is no movie.

Re Gouliovandamn: Heya~ Just to let you know, Jim said he is keen to continue playing Count Olaf in future instalments, because he gets to play different characters each time. He can dress up in different disguises, so never give up hope!!

well i see your point... but once you get past book 8 count olaf doesnt disguise himself anymore and then Jim wouldnt want to do it... plus like i said the books get to complicated for film with the quagmires and the whole V.F.D., snicket file, sugar bowl things..... so i am not counting on seeing another movie

hmmm... okays then. Who knows, they might change some stuff... do you remember spyglasses in the books? I can't remember... but I don't think they did. They're not even supposed to find out about VFD until the fifth book. I can definitely imagine Jim on the submarine though... :) But yeah.... he doesn't disguise himself after he's got his hands on the orphans...... I still hope they'll make a sequel.

NEW QUESTION?

Post by Canadian Jayne »

Did the movie meet you expectations from the book?
If so what was you're favorite part?
If not what would you have changed?

i liked the adaptation very much......in my opinion i really liked how they took the wedding (ending of book one) as the ending of the movie after the parts from books 2 and 3.... it made the story flow alot smoother on film.... it was a great movie... they didnt leave out anything really important and they added in the whole train bit which i really liked.... i would say the adaptation from book to movie was a 8.5/10 ..... the one thing i didnt like was how little captain sham was in it.... stephano is in the movie alot more but captain sham seemed rushed.... i liked the books better but the movie was great too.

They did a really really good job with transfering the books onto the screen :D It worked out really nicely~!! It definitely met my expectations :)

My favourite part.... err, all Count Olaf scenes :D I love watching Jim play Count Olaf~

I don't think I'd have changed anything really.... except I'd prefer if they actually included the person who looked neither like a man or a woman (maybe they did... didn't really see him/her when I watched)

I love this movie~! A++++

the did did include that character except they didnt make him as they depict in the book.... he was a guy who was like two face only half man half woman... he brings Violet down the isle in the wedding scene
