Disney's Upcoming Blu-Ray 3D Release!
http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=4013
As with most Christmas movies on DVD, we have to wait around 10 to 11 months for those movies to bring home in time for the holidays. As in the case with Disney’s A Christmas Carol which has already found success in 3D until the arrival of James Cameron’s Avatar, it will most likely be out in time for the 2010 holiday season. But for all Blu-Ray fans, consider this to be very exciting news.
According to Blu-Ray.com (great site for Blu-Ray fans), Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced that their support for Blu-ray 3D will culminate with the release of 'A Christmas Carol' during the fourth quarter of 2010. After a successful 3-D run in theaters, Disney hopes that Robert Zemeckis' re-envisioning of this classic holiday tale will capture audiences’ attention as their first Blu-ray 3D release.
Disney has previously released Blu-ray titles in 3D using the familiar red/blue glasses, but this will be the first title to utilize the recently announced Blu-ray 3D spec which provides a superior 3-D experience.
There are no official details at this moment, but we will keep you updated later this year.

I have no BR-player, because there's no point having one when you don't have a HD-TV.
Also, in Belgium the BR-movies are to expensive, most of my friends order in the UK or US, there the prices are a lot lower. But for me there's no point in buying BR's instead of DVD's.
Sony and Samsung are working on the 3D-technology for home theatres ... I thinks it's coming soon. When those guys make it available, maybe I'll get BR.
