I think this is a joke... Jim is GREAT but i don't see him in a Marvel movie. I think some kind of idiot had some fantasies and his joke was taken by the others websites. I don't believe this ! And Adam Sandler ? Come on !

Marvel wants Jim Carrey for Guardians of the Galaxy. That's the news I saw today and I went WHOOP! This is such a cool project, nothing like The Avengers (not that good, imo) and fare more interesting.

But then I saw the whole article and ... I can't help but think it's fake. Adam Sandler? C'mon. Not in a million years.

What I noticed scrolling through a lot of articles out there, are the positive comments for Jim. Much of it comes down to "Carrey? Yeah! Sandler!? NOOOO!". His last moves (Burt Wonderstone, Kick Ass², D&D²) did something good with his reputation. He made the right choices ... and I think it's going to pay off.

The less positive vibe (last 3 years or so) is gone. I still think it's weird people can change their minds about someone so fast, lol. Some years ago : Love him. last couple of years: Tired of him, he lost it. Recent: Great news, he's one of the best out there. That's how it was on many sites. Maybe there's still hope for Nicolas Cage, lol. On of the finest actors when he's in the right role and/or movie, but everyone was full of hate the last couple of years ... Around came Kick-Ass and suddenly he was cool again. One year after Kick-Ass people are like "He was cool, but that's long ago." again ... Ridiculous.
