My topic about Jim and Betina got locked up. So now I am confused. We are allowed to post pics of Jim's personnal life(like walking on the beach and stuff) But we are not allowed to talk about who he dates???

it's a service, provided out of the admiration of the administrators etc for Jim Carrey..............and we are all very grateful for that.....
but it's also a real mans' life , not a cartoon character...........................

I remember Jennifer Aniston saying she dealt with the intense media scrutiny by 'tuning it out'. The tabloid can drive anybody crazy.
Discouraging speculation on someone's private life makes sense to me.

Jim Carrey Online has had a very good relationship with Jim Carreys people over time. I think many of you remember that our Reporter (L.A.) Heather Wadowski had one-on-one interviews with Jim himself! In 2000 (The Grinch Premiere), 2001 (The Majestic Premiere) and in 2003 (Bruce Almighty Premiere).

I will not "detroy" the good relationship we have. Jim Carrey Online will never post news about his personal life. This board is dedicated to the discussion of Jim Carrey's career and public life.

hmm....I think some individuals are more private than others and what seems like a little gossip for us can make them distraught.

It may be a little self-righteous of me, but only because I feel a little guilty of cracking a few jokes at Jim's expense. I wouldn't want the object of my admiration to be feel bad. Would any fan ?

Those topics about Jim and his motorcycle and the one of him on the beach had lots of gossip too but they didn't get locked(no offense to the people who posted those pics I am one of them myself). not that I want them locked. Besides I do not think Jim is that niave. I think that if he came on here he would be expecting a little gossip. If anything I think the pictures and the gossip about him being lonely would bother him more. They asked Jim on Howard Stern(radio version) what he thought of tabloids and he said that he doesn't mind them as long as they don't offend his family or friends. I don't think mine or Lammys topics were offending. If it was I apologize.

I think this site is a public forum, gets a significant number of hits and is not 'clean' of comments on his personal life. I cannot think of a fan-site having 'tabloid'y flavor. *imitating bravado* We should strive to be a respectable magazinette
