Question for those who have seen the Lemony extras...

I finally got around to seeing some of the extras included with the DVD I got tonight. It was interesting to see how much of JC's impromptu stuff wound up in the movie.

Did anyone else notice in one of the "character" scenes (where he is fleshing out the characters by answering Brad Siberling's questions) that the camera panned down to Jim's legs and they were shaking...like he was really, really nervous.

I thought that was kind of touching and quaint. Do you think the process is so raw that THE Jim Carrey gets nerves?

It looked like nerves. That used to happen to me right before the high school musicals. You'd hear the overture and pray that your legs stopped wobbling in time for your entrance.

it's called Myoclonus...............when you are tense because of stress you tighten a ligament on the sole of your foot......when you bang it on the floor you'll get a perpetual judder which will only stop when you relax the foot.............basically it can go on as long as you do................

biology lesson over............so it's not necessarily nerves......i do it as a party trick......(i must get my sword swallowing perfected.....i'm almost there Jim   naughty hehehe)

This may explain the origin of the term "to think on one's feet"

You know-he was mumbleling words-that I didn't hear not one thing.
I know he at one point looked at the way his hands were looking-odd!

Ok...I still want to go with the nerves explanation because it's sweet and charming. Maybe I'm deluded, but at least I'm content.

i saw the extras and stuff i relel liked that the improve was in the film. was he shaking? i didnt notice, If he did, that is adorable, it makes me feel better, that he gets nerves like that too, even to he has been in so many films.
