Wow, that's really cool
I finished the book too, I would love to discuss it. Does anyone have the slightest idea of who R.A.B stands for? And uh, J.K. Rowling keeps saying Harry's eyes matter a great deal to something extremely important... Harry's eyes are green... yes, the same as Lily's, but I don't get what it has to do with anything... because we don't exactly know a lot about Lily, apart from that she's really smart, has red hair, and is a muggle-born. Petunia is her sister... and I just have no idea... I thought she'd explain this, but I guess not... have to wait until the 7th book.
I was so upset when I read the last few chapters... how could he die? This renders Harry pretty vulnerable, but he's a survivor, and he's not going to give up. Do you think they really will close the school down?

I'm doubtful that the school will close, But I think the most of the 7th book will take place away from hogwarts anyway.
What are your thaughts on snape. I'm still completely convinced that he's a good guy, though theres evidence that supports otherwise. The overwhelming evidence is that Snape is still 100% loyal to Dumbledore.(Ask me about it)
Harry's eyes will end up being proof that he's related to someone important, I think.
As fro R.A.B. could be anyone. Probably someone we've already seen but only know his (or her) first name. Or someone we've seen that has changed his or her name. I think this R.A.B. character is going to either help Harry to defeat Voldy somehow, or Wind up working against Harry, Kind of a competition Who will kill Voldemort first. ..

Hey I read this from a very reliable source, And it all makes sense!!
The following note is encased in the fake Horcrux (the locket). Harry reads it on the night of Dumbledore's death:
To the Dark Lord
I now I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who dicovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can.
I face death in the hope that when you meet your match you will be mortal once more.
R.A.B.
It only took a few minutes to realize that R.A.B. is Sirius's brother, Regulus Black. It all fits quite well, really. First off, the author addresses Voldemort as "the Dark Lord," a title used by Death Eaters. Secondly, Regulus fled from the Death Eaters and was killed several days later, giving him enough time to find one Horcrux (if he knew where to look).
Thirdly, and most convincingly...
There was a musical box that emitted a faintly sinister, tinkling tune when wound, and they all found themselves becoming curiously weak and sleepy, until Ginny had the sense to slam the lid shut; a heavy locket that none of them could open; a number of ancient seals; and, in a dusty box, an Order of Merlin, First Class, that had been awarded to Sirius's grandfather for 'services to the Ministry'.
- Chapter Six ("The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black") of Order of the Phoenix
That pretty much speaks for itself. And because Harry now owns Grimmauld Place and all of its contents, he owns one of the remaining Horcruxes. The problem now is how to go about destroying it...

I think the writer knows-although I heard that she was going to change her name, so that when she writes other stuff they will not be able to associate her with the book-or something like this-

If you haven't read the book and plan to, this isn't the greatest forum to be reading. Because you might find out something that will ruin the book.

Just warning you.
I think I have figured out what the other 4 horcruxes are. I'm not the only one who thinks this either: Lets see. . . We have
Hufflepuff's Cup
Slytherins Locket
The Snake Nagini
and maybe . . . Harry's Scar.
(which would explain Harry's weird behaviour in book five. And those dreams.)
What do you think?

Harry's scar...
I think he was born a witch and school is making him more powerful-
Which is good for him, so that he can protect a lot of people and family-
Just a guess, but I have seen all the movies, but haven't read the books-

Well, if you really want to know the end of the book, Who am I to stop you, I won't tell you, but I won't stop myself from mentioning the events in casual conversation. It's all up to you. I will answer questions too, I'm what you call am HP sleuth! I've read the whole series 4 times except the 6th book, only once. Feel free to ask! I will volunteer plot twists, and critical info! But only if I'm asked!
This goes against everything I've worked for by the way! I won't even tell my Girlfriend about it, she's got to read it herself.

Question: Do you still think Snape is a good guy?? Why, Or why not?
Who did he really betray by killing Dumbledore?

I think Dumbledore had to die in order to push Harry to go after Voldemort himself, finding the remaining Horcruxes, and finally finishing Voldemort for good. Otherwise Dumbledore would always be there seemingly protecting Harry and watching over him too much. There had to be a give somewhere for Harry to go and do it. Nobody else, just Harry.
It seems pretty apparent that's how it was set up. It was said in one of the final chapters that James, Lily, Sirius and now Dumbledore had all been killed in some way or another that connects to Voldemort. These are all adults in Harry's life that were there to protect him from having to directly deal with Voldemort, and as we found out in Order of the Phoenix no matter who is or is not there to protect or help Harry out, Harry has to be the one to kill him in the end. Or vice versa.
