Whos Dumb & whos Dumber

The ongoing question...which ones dumb & which ones dumber... Im not sure there is an answer to this... but if there is... tell me what you think it would be and why. Personally i think Lloyd is dumber.. he can't read, he drove the van the in wrong direction,... From what i can see, Lloyd is easily the dumber of the two.

I believe I read somewhere that Jim Carrey's character, Lloyd, was Dumb, and Jeff Daniel's character, Harry, was Dumber. "And in case I don't see you again, good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight!"

There was some what of a fude. they both wanted to play the part as drumer but in the end Jim ended up with the role.

I think that Jim was dumber because of the fact that Lloyd couldn't read and Harry could.. Just my two cents -Kristin /////"My wife bought me a Quaji board for Christmas. Oh my God! It's 10 years ago! I had the exact same debate with a friend of mine after having seen the movie for the first time.
I always thought Lloyd was dumber. I think the last scene of the film demonstrates this well: "You must forgive my friend, he's a little slow! ...The town is back that way!"
Of course that's just 1 example, there's also the fact he sold the dead bird, the "We landed on the moon!", and so on and so on...

yeah, and the fact that the cops trusted Harry with a gun and not Lloyd is a good indication that Lloyd was the dumber one.

lloyd was definately dumber coz when Jim proposed to lauren(in the movie) she said no....then Jim said "is there a chance?" lauren said;"no"....then Jim said " u mean 1 in 100"....then lauren said....".no 1 in million"...then Jim said" so u r tellin' me there is a chance"!!! .........so lloyd doesnt even know that million is more than hundered!!!

also, the fact that Lloyd thought that he could get away with the whole Seabass-picking-up-the-tab prank. Then he mentions that he saw it in a movie once and the guy catches up to the prankster and slits his throat, and the look on Harry's face shows that Harry sees what's coming, and Lloyd is totally oblivious and thinks they got away. . . lol.

also, Lloyd doesn't get a hint about Mary thinking he's the weirdest and dumbest Limo driver in the world. Starts talking about dying on the way to the airport and then doesn't watch the road the road while he's talking to Mary. lol.

I also think that LLoyd is the dumber one. Harry also did many dumb things, for example, when Lloyd has changed the car against this little ....bike (sry, forgot the English word at the moment). Henry says something like "Always when I think you can't be dumber, you are doing things like that................ and prove that you are not so stupid." (is not the correct quotation but I have not seen the movie for a long time). Or when Henry doesn't knwo that a quarter past 3 is the same like 3. 15 or something like that. But Lloyd makes in the movie more stupid things than Henry (the reading, the wrong driving, the thing with the bus in the end what you all already mentioned) and so I guess that Lloyd is the dumber one. I have thought about that sometimes in the past, too.

yeah. lol. HARRY was pretty dumb. they both betrayed each other though. I think that's stupid . . . to get in as many fights as they did over weird, nerdy girls. lol.

also, they both didn't know better and they thought that Petey's head really just RANDOMLY fell off. lol.

also, I think Lloyd freaked out and jumped the conclusions to the extreme!

"Oh my gosh! Lloyd! It's a man and a woman. The man's got a gun!"
"Harry? Did you pay the gas bill?"

lol. they thought it was the gas man at the door with a gun. lol. I'm gonna go watch this movie. I'm cracking up at all these scenes that I'm thinking of.
