I have never had duck before, I did however try squab. That was an experience. They sure are small. I did have a date hunt and prepare a pheasant dinner for me. That was something very unique and to honest I really loved pheasant. I keep thinking about that scene in 'Christmas Story' when the family goes to the Chinese Restaurant for Christmas Dinner and the waiter brings the duck, and lops off the head right at the table. That movie is a classic. Fragile!.... what a lamp! sorry about the tangent, its just the way my brain operates. Everything reminds me of a movie. I'm a movie junkie

I confess i don't eat duck...................because of how they treat them in the battery units...................sorry..............
i won't go into it but it's shocking...............battery hens are in a holiday camp by comparison............

but free range duck ........or wild duck that's had a life.............well that's ok..............
but i just don't eat duck............ Ducks really are the comedians of the bird world..........they are very comical and cute.........so i prefer to feed them instead................

I eat duck. It's my favourite meat. I like live ducks, but I don't see the ones I eat, so it doesn't bother me!

I've been semi-vegetarian before, now completely vegetarian for one year... why?... I don't know. It started off as animal rights etc, but now its just a decision I made and sticking with it! I can be stubborn sometimes :lol

Your cousin's lucky to enjoy your cooking, quirky :)

I was a strict vegetarian for four years, every time I saw meat (raw) I would get really queasy, and that pretty much went for all meat (red, poultry, fish) But when I became pregnant.... All I wanted was pastrami sandwiches (Togo's - if your from California) I wonder why human choose to eat some animals, and not others? Why cows, chickens, and fish; and then launch campaigns to save the seals, whales and dolphins. Whats the difference?
