The Cable guy!

anyone else thinks that the cable guy is more like a drama / thriller, than a comedy, sure i laughed a couple of times, but i think he´s more scary than histarically funny...anyone else agree.....BTW THE CABLE GUY ROCKS

I loved the movie since i first saw it. I just can't see why a lot of other people can't get into it.

I adore this movie... one of my favorites... and the whole lisp thing I find SEXY.
I wouldn't say its drama type though. I thought it was funny, I laughed the whole time.
I never thought of him as an evil guy in it... just a guy wanting a friend and going to drastic measures to get one. I felt sorry for him the whole time in this movie... he was a little over the top, but none the less... he'd never had a real friend and didn't know how to keep one.
I would have been his friend...

yehp even thought its extremly funny its also a dark movie ...i love it
and Jim pulls of the lisp extremly well

I love that song. i listen to just about everyday. that the Grinch song he did w/ Busta Rhymes. Jim can really bust out a rhyme.

I agree with you! A lot of people didn't like this movie and I will never understand this... Jim's character was so nicely acted and the movie itself was nice. Touching, funny and maniac! And it was one of the first movie Jack Black did... and Ben Stiller directed it... how could it be better?
And yes, the song is great

the cable guy is a fantastic movie! so dark, funny,sad and the lisp thing is just making the hole movie better

I think the lisp thing is great, but I dont think he should do it again. The lisp thing is one of thing that remains me of the cable guy. everytime I hear someone doing it, I always think of that movie.

I actually think it's meant to be a drama/thriller with some humorous moments. In fact it's a very sad story about loneliness.

I really like this movie and I think I do that most beacus its not just a komedy... it s drama too and I think its good to not just se movies with Jim Carrey that is komedy...
Many of my friends just think that Jim Carrey is funny (sure he is) but he is not just he is a very great actor and he can make amny diffrent kind of movies..
if he just really wants to and he has the right things for it too and I think he can mea very good thrillers (like 23) and dramas too and I really enjoyed The cably guy
