At the IMDb today:

'Star Wars' Character Voted Most Irritating Ever

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace alien Jar Jar Binks has been voted the most annoying film character of all time. In a poll of 5,000 movie fans by UK website LoveFilm.com, the computer generated Binks beat out competition from Andie MacDowell's character, Carrie, in Four Weddings And A Funeral. Third most irritating is Rowan Atkinson's Bean, followed in fourth place by Jim Carrey's Ace Ventura: Pet Detective character. In fifth place is Ben Stiller's White Goodman in Dodgeball.

Mind you, have to agree with Carrie in 'Four Weddings & a Funeral'.

How can they not love a Pet Detective who shoves wee dogs down his jumper, tries to save a Raccoon and loves all animals......(as well as looks good in leather chaps of course..... :lol: ).........what's not to love? :shock:

I agree fluffs lol. What is there NOT to love... he's awesome!!!!!! :D he's hilarious not irratating.... its those sad people that pic at every film. my mate is like that im always moaning at him he doesnt find anything funny just anoying! :x grrr!

Ace isnt annoying. I love Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean. If you havent watched anything with Rowan Atkinson, I think you should try to watch some.

i happen to like annoying people....i laugh at them, and all the people they annoy. it's harder than making people laugh sometimes..... :wink:but i'm just weird that way...that's also why i like the cable guy, and i'm a stern fan...oops, did i say that out loud!?!

Whether they were all annoying or not, they have made a memorable impression.........be it possitive or negative depends on each individuals perception....it's still recognition....kudos to us all... :wink: 8) :lol:
