I'm just learning to drive......Any tips?

My dad just got a car but I'll be able to drive it whenever. The bad part is: its a stick!

I'm having so much trouble with the cluch its not even funny.

So I was wondering if any of you had any tips.

...........wow!!.........you have to be 17 here............my advice is drive, drive and drive some more............is it a manual or automatic gear??........

drive by urself for a while until u get a handle for the car and the roads.

Everyone uses a stick here in the UK (well most of us anyway). If you can learn to drive in a manual then you'll a more versatile driver later.
All you need to remember....is learn where the 'biting point' is and you'll be fine on the gear changes. Manuals are soooooo much better. IMHO.
Practice does make perfect.
