Glad Jim took time to talk to the kids,
Some Autistic children have a difficult time in large crowds,
Evan looked a little upset at first, that may have been why.
Also some adults and children who have hearing difficulties can hear alot of people but not make out anyof the words of one particular person which can cause anxiety since all they hear is a big clump of noise, I think it sounds like confusion to them.

Being there to acknowledge to the fans.. this is for you...
glad you enjoyed it..
Being an actor is an art, appreciating ones fans is a completion to the art.

probably wouldn't put anyone in that section other than God himself..
he is incredibly talented though and hopefully he will make a good mark
on the world today, find what he is meant to do with what he has,
whether talent, encouragement, he's pretty smart, he'll find it, and do it.
I have na doubt about that.
I enjoyed it better when I couldn't hear the volume...

That must be so irritating having people call out your name so much, now Jim knows how Elvis must have felt, too bad there isn't a better way to get his attention other than yelling at him, I think that's what threw the young lad, Evan off, all the yelling, also at the end you see the kids looking at the guys yelling, children are very sensitive to screeming, some were males voices and could have a type of threatening tone, that's probably why he ignored them.
I understand wanting to get his attention, but it was boardering almost to the point of obnoxious.
But I don't know what they could do to get his attention for the camera, but I don't think yelling made him receptive. Any suggestions? Music? Specialized Banner? What?

yeah, that's right, Jayne. I grew up with that problem and it still affects me today. I have a 30% hearing loss in both ears. It causes a lot of anxiety. really sucks!
I bet you can read lips pretty well...

one of the most interesting times in communication I had with someone who can't hear was when I did an experiment to see if I could communicate through writing and actually it worked. So there we were writing back and forth to each other on paper serviettes, I think the waitress thought we were nuts, but I thought, who cares what someone thinks, if it works, go for it.
With paper you have to be direct and if the other person doesn't understand then they have to write for you to clarify, sometimes we say things that could have two different meanings.
