Jim Carrey is a Sober Buddy!

Variety reports that Jim Carrey is set to star in Universal Pictures new movie titled "Sober Buddies". This comedy will be produced by Carrey along with Stuber/Parent's Scott Stuber and Mary Parent and Michael Peyse.
The script will be written by Andrew Kurtzman. It's about a hard-partying software executive who have been assigned a court-appointed Sober Buddy (Jim Carrey) to keep him under control during a critical business trip to Las Vegas. A perfect plan falls apart when Carrey falls off the wagon.
Principal Entertainment's Danny Sherman will be executive producer who brought this project to Carrey and took it to Stuber and in turn Stuber set it at Universal under the duo's overall deal at the studio.
Jim Carrey will have a decision to make on what movies he will start before the strike next June. He's juggling between this and some other movies: the biopic "Ripley's Believe it or Not" and the dark comedy "I Love You Phillip Morris".
