Grinch talks
27 Sep 1999 According to a scoop sent to Coming Attractions by Corona, renowned Director of Photography Dean Cundey, is currently directing the teaser trailer/s for "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
While talking to The Hollywood Reporter, "Grinch" writers, Peter Seaman and Jeffrey Price, revealed that they experienced some problems adapting Dr. Seuss' original short story into a feature length film. "[We] knew nothing about the Grinch. We had to come up with the answers to why he lives in caves and hates Christmas."
Brian Grazer, the "Grinch" producer, recently gave to columnists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith his first impressions on Jim Carrey's work as the Mean One. According to Grazer, Carrey "fully inhabits the mythic character -- but in the center, there is a heartfelt tale of the Grinch and a little girl called Cindy Lou-who."
