Jim Carrey's HBO sitcom cancelled!

For those of you wondering what has happened to the TV sitcom named "Is This Thing On?" starring comedian Lisa Lampanelli, produced and written by Jim Carrey and Kario Salem, we've got some bad news.
On Howard Sterns Radio Show last week (9/15/09), Lisa revealed the HBO pilot was shelved before filming...
"Lisa complained that she never got to shoot the Jim Carrey-produced HBO pilot she'd mentioned during her last appearance on the show: "[They] shit the bed. We didn't even get to film the pilot...all they said is 'We decided to pass.'"
HBO still had to pay for the series' development and Lisa plans to use the money to pay for her wedding.
Whether this is the end of Jim Carrey's TV plans remains to be seen for now...
