Jim Carrey's Penguins begins filming next month

Jim Carrey's upcoming family comedy "Mr. Popper's Penguins" will begin shooting next month in New York. The cast is beginning to look promising. As reported last week Carla Gugino (Watchmen) joined as Tom Popper's (Jim Carrey) wife. Today the british rising star Ophelia Lovibond is added to the cast. She is best known from "Nowhere Boy" and will next be seen in "London Boulevard" with Colin Farrell and Keira Knightley.
In "Mr. Popper's Penguin" she will play Popper's personal assistant. The Fox movie will be directed by Mark Waters. No news yet who will play Admiral Drake, Captain Cook and Popper's children Janie and Bill.
