Drops Out of "Pierre Pierre"

In February we reported that production of the upcoming Larry Charles comedy "Pierre Pierre" was moving ahead with filming in Europe by Summer 2012. Now it looks like it will be without Jim Carrey! The news has been confirmed by Jim Carrey's publicist.
No reason was given. It looks like Jim Carrey instead will focus on the sequel of "Dumb and Dumber". Filming is expected to begin in September.
