Jim Carrey’s The Mask Gets a Stunning 4K Upgrade
05 Nov 2025

By Tommy Pihl (Editor-in-Chief)

One of Jim Carrey’s most beloved and explosive comedies, "The Mask" (1994), is back — and it’s looking better than ever! Arrow Video has just unveiled an exclusive 4K clip from their upcoming Limited Edition release, giving fans a dazzling new look at one of the film’s most iconic moments.

Directed by Chuck Russell and based on the Dark Horse comic by John Arcudi and Doug Mahnke, The Mask stars Jim Carrey, Cameron Diaz, Peter Riegert, Peter Greene, and Richard Jeni. Upon its release, the film became a global phenomenon, grossing over $350 million worldwide and solidifying Jim Carrey as one of Hollywood’s brightest stars.

In the newly restored footage, we see Jim’s unforgettable alter ego Stanley Ipkiss don the magical mask and unleash pure cartoon chaos — twisting up balloon animals in a scene that starts with charm and erupts into pure mayhem. It’s vintage Jim Carrey energy at its absolute peak, now sharper, brighter, and more vibrant than ever before.
