"I bet you're wondering what it's like being gay. The hours are good. HHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHAAAAA!!!!!!!!!" I'm Dumb and I'm proud! :_D
This sounds pretty funny. I doubt any of you remember this, but a few years ago, I posted that Jim (Carrey) should play a homosexual. "Bad Santa" was a funny (crude) movie, so I think it's safe to say this one will be too. I'll see it. But I bet it'll shock/disgust a lot of Jim's conservative fanbase. Just my opinion.
Why the hell are people comparing this to "The Cable Guy"? Did I miss something? The Cable guy wasn't gay...although I thought he was supposed to be, when I first saw the commercials.
Returning serious... I can however to say that Jim is one intelligent person, why, it wants once again to demonstrate to know to make thing!!E then he every to know that this film unnoticed!!
I task am one challenge! I'm Dumb and I'm proud! :_D
I didn't like Bad Santa as well. You say with a good directing and acting it should be fine. I think so too. But Jim's perfect acting didn't help much with the Number 23 (in my opinion), but there was a bad script though and a director who messed with the script badly...
Im just glad he's doing another comedy. Although I wish he'd do something like Bruce Almighty or MM&I.
"You Cant Stop Me No Matter Who You Are"
If Jim will do this gay movie... it's gonna be a blast! In a good way. I think he gives a dare to those who think that he's good only for the comedy. I'm not sure though that he's right in that. I mean - daring. All the people who get him - get him.
But I also think that he just tries a different thing. Something that he hides inside. Like in Number 23 his dark love life... Sex life I mean. And here... not that his hidden side is gay - but it's something forbidden and kinda brutal. And it's good.
Well, it's not the comedy as we think of it. Fluffy said it's a dark comedy. And a dark comedy could be anything... actually... There are so many things, genres that they could "stick into" that movie that I get dizzy just thinking of it.
Jim's love interest? Hmmm...
It'd be cool if Jim would play his own love interest. Not the whole identical person with Jim's face, but someone like Count Olaf... I mean - with a disguise And I don't mean his biological twin. NO! It'd be fun if he played two characters.
I am! Brokeback Jail Cell, is what it'd be if it were Jhonny Depp! "No time outs. Only DEATH!"
"I don't like to brag and I won't cuz I don't have to!"
Hmmm. Captain Jack drops his bottle of rum and gets a funny feeling in his bum.
I am part of an elite group of people......THE MEN OF JCO.
(Standing member since July 18th, 2005) THE FEW AND THE PROUD!!!!
I think Jim just wants to jump off his pants choosing to do this role. What does he want to prove? That he is a good actor? ..damn I don't know.. No offence, but I think if he wants to do something extra he should play in a non-commercial movie, maybe in a european one, with Lars Von Trier or Polanski for example...
Jim stop doing this commercial stuff, you are killing yourself as an artist! No one is taking you seriously anymore. Even in the darkest thriller everybody will be subconsсiously waiting for a minimal change of your facial muscles. Gay... Even in my deepest sexual fantasies I couldn't imagine him a gay. But this is a good idea, if only something doesn't spoil the whole picture. I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us...very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad...
